About Active Brain

Inspired by Montessori methods, enriched with intriguing scientists' stories, guided by Sheavon in small, secure, and comfortable groups to ensure high-quality education!
We offer science programs for children aged 4-8 during school holidays. Our hands-on, interactive courses are designed to foster an atmosphere of learning and FUN discovery.
From Magic Forces to Liquid science and more, we cover a wide range of fascinating topics. Along with engaging stories about scientists, we cater to a child's natural curiosity and bring science to life.

FAQs
How long is each program?
Each program lasts 4 days and each day is about 3 hours from 9 am to 12 noon. It is necessary to enroll for 4 days.
How can I enroll my child in your program?
Enrollment can be done through HERE or by contacting us directly on Istagram. The process will only be completed when you receive a confirmation mail.
Is there any daycare service available after 12 pm?
Yes, we do offer daycare service from 12 noon until 4:30 pm.
What materials do we use?
We take great care in selecting our materials, prioritizing both safety and quality. Our science activities utilize organic ingredients that are eco-friendly and non-toxic, ensuring a safe learning environment.

Welcome to our world of Active Brain
Hello! I'm Sheavon, a science teacher and a PhD scholar with a rich international background in Chemistry, now a proud parent just like you. Born into a family dedicated to education in Taiwan, my passion for making science intriguing for young minds began early. My teaching journey at Junior High School taught me the joy of igniting a love for science in children.
My academic adventures took me across Europe – France, Germany, and Italy – on a full EU PhD scholarship (IDS-FunMat from 2014-2017). There, I learned alongside top scientists, gaining diverse perspectives and refining my problem-solving skills.
Now, as a mother to a curious 5-year-old, I've found joy in creating science toys from everyday materials, perfectly tailored for kindergarten minds and even bigger ones. My approach is simple: blend learning with play to spark creativity and discovery. Let's nurture our children's potential together, guiding them to become extraordinary individuals on their life journey. Join us in this exciting exploration!
